 Our weather this past weekend was how I imagine San Diego to be year-round; absolutely perfect.  Unfortunately, this week it’s expected to be downright cold, so I don’t know that I’ll be able to peel back the tights just yet.  Regardless, I’m still incorporating (and layering!) pastels and bits of spring into my wardrobe.

How was your weekend?  Can you cross any items off of Friday’s weekend Bucket List?  I was inspired to try this new recipe as an appetizer for a party, snapped a pretty shot of the sunset, wore pastels, treated myself to a pedicure instead of fro-yo and surprised my boyfriend with breakfast in bed before his round of golf on Sunday.  Don’t you just love a to-do list that doesn’t include paying bills or chores? ;)

Winter Remix Style Challenge

Earlier this week, I participated in the Winter Remix Style Challenge hosted by What I Wore.  The challenge was to take one item from your  closet and style it two different ways.  I turned what is originally a full length dress into a “top” paired with a skirt.  Roughly 80 bloggers participated in the challenge.  For some additional outfit inspiration, check out the original post here!!
