Happy 1st of May! How fun is this top? (You’ve got to check out the back as well – I’m pretty sure you could get away with wearing this one backwards!) And I think this cheek stain might just be the answer for that fresh faced, glowing skin we’re all after in the warmer months. I’m intrigued…

This past Saturday, we nixed our original plans and ended up going for a walk through Woodley Park (DC). It’s amazing how quiet and quaint certain parts of the city can be. We stopped for some drinks at a rooftop bar, and wandered aimlessly through the Zoo; all in all, a great day.
Trust: when you’re heading out, unsure of where the day will take you, you can never go wrong in a maxi and flat sandals.

This week, I am all for laid-back, and casual-but-cool pieces. I can see something like this worn to a happy hour, out for a day of shopping, or on a fun little trip. I actually wouldn’t mind slipping into this outfit and taking off on a mini adventure….right about…now….
