Spotlight On: M.A.S. Fashion

Today, I am so excited to put the spotlight on one of my favorite bloggers, Mary Summers from:

Mary does ‘casual chic’ like no other.  With lots of leather, great boots, and a bevy of all-black ensembles (my fave!), Mary’s effortless style has that cool factor some girls spend hours and days trying to re-create.  At the same time, this Dallas blogger has that ‘girl-next-door-feels-like-we’ve-been-friends-for-years” quality about her.

And can we PLEASE take a moment to discuss the engagement pics?!  In a departure from your traditional, posed, predictable engagement session, photographer, Taylor Lord, seemed to catch Mary and her fiance in those adorable, real life mini-moments you rarely see captured in a picture.  They were absolutely perfect, and I cannot wait to see pics from the wedding in a few short months.

Q&A:

If you could re-do 10 minutes of your life, what moment would you change and what would you change?  I would re-live my engagement. It was such a happy moment and I was overcome with so many emotions I blacked out a little bit.  My fiance said he practiced all day on what he would say to me but I had so many emotions I couldn’t even tell you what he said.  I wouldn’t change a thing about the event but I would change how fast time went.  I wish I could have slowed it down and taken in every little moment.

$1000 drops out of the sky with a note that says you have to spend it all today.  What would you buy?  Okay, so I know I need to say a trip or something exciting but I think I would buy a great pair of shoes or a new bag!  You know, the typical, “investment.”

If you had to take yourself on a date alone, where would you go and what would you wear?  Love this question. I am such a homebody so I would probably call in sushi and order a movie. I am all about comfort (you can tell in my outfit posts) so I would curl up in a plush sweater and soft leggings.

What do you have a hard time remembering to do?  E-mails. I am so bad at answering e-mails. This was one of my 2013 resolutions.

What is your favorite vacation destination, and what is a “must-do” while there?  If you know me, you know me you know I love Paris but lately my favorite place to go is my fiances home in Geneva, Switzerland.  His family and home are so warm and inviting and the summer weather is unreal.  We both love to go to lake Geneva and hang out with his friends on their boats.  I also love that it is so far away.  Once you are there you can really let all of your stresses go and just enjoy the fresh, Switzerland air!

Which of your blog posts got the most attention in the last year?  My engagement pictures finished that race first! I think my readers loved how much I opened up to them and how personal they felt.
