I love that living in the DC-metro area gives you the excitement of city living, but the refuge of the shore and the beach are just a few short hours away. For whatever reason; when I am near the water, I feel completely relaxed. After a hectic week, Ryan and I decided to drive out to Solomon Island with no plan other than to enjoy a drink by the water, and watch the boats sail by. And that’s just what we did.
