1. Part day-old hair to the side. (*hair that hasn’t been washed in 1-2 days will hold a style best)
2. Gather hair in a loose ponytail, off to one side.
3. Just above the hairband, separate hair into two parts. Using your fingers, create an opening. Starting with the top of the ponytail, flip hair over and through the opening. Pull the ponytail all of the way through and tighten.
4. To create a loose fishtail braid, separate your ponytail into two pieces. Starting with the back of one section, pull a small piece of hair over the top and add it under the hair of the other section. Repeat on the other side. Continue through to the end of the braid, using larger pieces and making sure not to pull too tight. Secure the end of the braid with a hairband.
