Blue Bow

Dress: ASOS. Shoes: Boutique 9. Handbag: Bulga. Sunglasses: Karen Walker. Watch: Michael Kors. Bracelets: H&M, unknown.

After brunch yesterday, Ryan and I took a walk through Glen Echo Park on a whim.  Glen Echo is a skeleton of what used to be an amusement park in the early 1900′s, but has since turned into a host for art & cultural organizations.  The carousel is the only moving piece in this park that seems to be frozen in time; giving it that ’Alice in Wonderland’ feeling all around.  We drove into the city and strolled through the Sculpture Garden before spending a few hours in the National Gallery of Art.  As the sun went down, we had dinner and drinks at Guajillo in Arlington – which was, in my opinion, the perfect ending to another great day.

I already know that this ASOS dress will be my go-to throughout the summer, not only because I am in love with the subtle bow print, but because the open back (not pictured) serves as a built in ‘air-conditioning’ – which I can’t imagine living without on the hottest summer days.

How was your weekend??  Did you do anything fun?  Don’t forget to stop back at 3PM EST for the next post in my Wardrobe Check series.  Happy Monday!
